Transylvania
County is rich in both cultural and recreation opportunities, from summer music
at the Brevard Music Center to hiking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding,
canoeing, camping and biking in the
Pisgah National Forest. There are downtown
events, such as the Festival of Arts, Brevard Philharmonic Orchestra, plus
countywide revivals and music festivals.
Transylvania County offers more than 15 summer and year round
camps for both
