  • Travel generated a $13.01 million payroll in 2010.
  • State and local tax revenues from travel to Transylvania County amounted to $6.53 million. This represents a $196.75 tax saving to each county resident.

Popular attractions include the Brevard Music Center, Pisgah National Forest, Cradle of Forestry in an American National Historic Site, Whitewater and Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock and the French Broad River.
